We completed studying the grammar around ‘even’ and moved on to how to use ‘even though’ and ‘despite’. We also completed our studies about phrasal verbs – tonight we looked at some travel and holiday scenarios that use phrasal verbs. For example, to get away / to take off somewhere / to check in etc. Today was very hot in Edinburgh so we were thinking about our summer holidays so these phrasal verbs could prove useful!!
